Since my injury, adaptive skiing has been my own outlet where I get an adrenaline rush.

This program saved my life. I was in a dark place. I was homeless with my daughter. I am an MST (military sexual trauma) survivor and I couldn’t interact with or deal with people. I was closed off and I felt like ending my life. A friend suggested the CAMO program and I was overweight and, due to my disability, I could barely walk. The CAMO family embraced me with pure love and empowerment. They heal the whole veteran with a holistic approach. They have been a beacon of hope to me. I now have a great relationship with my daughter. I found love and was able to accept love. I can also mentor other female veterans with disabilities. CAMO means the world to me. Thank you to everyone who supports this amazing program!
