The Limitless Mountain Challenge is an all day skiing extravaganza to raise money for Challenge Aspen.

Rally a team of four or enter individually. Prizes are awarded to:

Most Vertical Feet Skied
Best Costume

This event is for EVERYONE

Entry fees are waived for competitors with disabilities, and if you are not a season pass holder at Aspen Snowmass, discounted single-day lift tickets are available. See website for details.

Can’t Make on February 10th?

If you can’t join us in Snowmass for the event, you can still participate wherever you are, doing any activity, between now and February 10th. Check out the event website to see how people are participating remotely and design your own challenge, the possibilities are limitless!

Winter Adaptive Recreation

Challenge Aspen’s 8-week winter locals ski/snowboard team took a field trip to X-Games last weekend to practice on the slopes of Buttermilk and take in the action at the halfpipe.

Challenge Aspen Military Opportunities Program

Challenge Aspen Military Opportunities hosted the second annual Wounded Warrior Project retreat.

Twelve adaptive warrior athletes spent the week learning new skills in snow sports with Challenge Aspen ski pros, and making memories to last a lifetime.

Challenge Aspen’s local ski and snowboard team is preparing for the Special Olympics Regional competition.

Spectators encouraged! Bring your cowbells and cheer on the athletes from the sundeck.

Join us for Western Slope Socials Winter Sports weekend February 23-25! Western Slope Socials are drop-in, weekend adaptive recreation offerings at an extremely subsidized rate.

NASTAR Nationals

Registration is open for the NASTAR Nationals adaptive clinic with Challenge Aspen.

Held yearly during the NASTAR Nationals event, Challenge Aspen brings in a professional coach for a multi-day clinic to prepare adaptive athletes to submit their best times on the official NASTAR race course.

Challenge Aspen Community

New Van Day!

Challenge Aspen received its first wheelchair accessible van, generously donated by National Council member Keith Orr.

The staff already put this vehicle to good use at the recent Wounded Warrior Project retreat, and it will be an invaluable piece of equipment for all of our adaptive recreation programs.
