Volunteer Program Coordinator

Part-time, Seasonal Position (25-30 hours per week): October 15th 2024 – April 20th, 2025.

Job Purpose:The primary function of this role is to assist in sustaining and managing a successful volunteer program and to create a junior volunteer program.

Program Services Coordinator

Full-Time Seasonal Position: October 15th, 2024 – April 20, 2025

Job purpose:The primary function of the Program Services Coordinator is to successfully and accurately facilitate all reservation requests for our Adaptive Ski & Snowboard School. The Experience Coordinator is the main contact for all participants and their families, the key liaison between staff, volunteers, participants, pros, and the Aspen Skiing Company.

Apprentice Pro

Seasonal Position: November 18th, 2024 – April 20, 2025

Job purpose: Challenge Aspen is hiring 4 Apprentice Pros for the 2024 – 2025 winter season, one will be dedicated to the CAMO program. The Apprentice Pros will be responsible for facilitating adaptive skiing and/or snowboarding experiences for individuals with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. The CAMO AP will have the opportunity to learn and work closely with the CAMO Director and Facilitator to plan and facilitate CAMO retreats.

This position is designed for people interested in learning and gaining knowledge in the adaptive snow sports and recreation industries. Apprentice Pros will be trained on disabilities, both on snow and indoors, will assist with adaptive skiing or snowboarding instruction, and will become educated on adaptive equipment.

Ideal candidates are those who are looking to develop the skills and knowledge to become adaptive and/or alpine ski instructors, or to gain the necessary experience to work in the adaptive recreation, adventure tourism, snow sports, or ski resort industries.

Volunteers have the opportunity to change lives through year-round, adaptive recreation and to be personally moved in the process, while experiencing the fun of the Roaring Fork Valley.
