After studying international business in college, I packed up my car and moved to Colorado to learn to ski. 20 years later, after holding various ski industry roles in Crested Butte, Breckenridge and Aspen/Snowmass, I’m still hopelessly hooked on this outdoor lifestyle. I love seeing program participants thrive, supporting team members as they work towards their personal and professional successes, and removing barriers to make way for meaningful progress.

I am grateful for the opportunity to spend every day supporting Challenge Aspen’s incredible mission. Outside of serving the Challenge Aspen community and skiing, my favorite pastimes are traveling with my family, flyfishing, camping, hiking, and painting.

My favorite outdoor activity is…

Camping. I love everything about traveling to new landscapes in the west, campfires, meteor showers and exploring the outdoors through the eyes of my son. Bonus points if the campground is part of a bluegrass festival!

I’m proud of myself for overcoming my fear of…

Public speaking. I grew up as a shy person. Years of practice, personal growth, and confidence building have helped me stand in front of a group to share personal messages.

My hidden talent or interest is…

Painting. I enjoy watercolor painting. I’m most inspired by mountains, rivers, lakes and sunsets, and watercolor inspires an opportunity to let go of exactness and enjoy the natural movement of water and pigment on paper.
