Dickson

REC Program Manager
I went to school at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse, where I studied Recreational Therapy and Spanish. I became a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and completed my therapeutic recreation internship at the City of Eugene Adaptive Recreation in Oregon where I worked primarily with adults with cognitive and developmental disabilities. After working in Eugene, I applied to Challenge Aspen’s Apprentice Pro (AP) program and became an AP for the 17/18 ski season, learning the ropes of the adaptive ski industry and obtaining Alpine and Adaptive PSIA certifications. I took a brief break after my AP winter to lead overnight trips for people with disabilities in the Midwest, but quickly returned to be an adaptive ski pro for Challenge Aspen the following season…. and have been here ever since!
