Challenge Aspen operates one of the country’s premiere adaptive ski and snowboard programs at Aspen Snowmass mountains. Challenge Aspen’s adaptive certified instructors provide individualized support and coaching that equips every person for a successful day on the mountain.
All private lesson packages include a Aspen Skiing Company Instructor with a PSIA Adaptive Certification, rental and adaptive equipment, and lift ticket(s).
Challenge Aspen can send a trained volunteer out on the mountain with intermediate to advanced level skiers/snowboarders. Buddy days are a good option for people who require some level of accomodation to ski or snowboard, but who do not require a private adaptive lesson.
All buddy packages include discount lift ticket(s) and discounted rental equipment. To qualify for buddy support, participants must be an advanced skier or rider.
This program offers individualized support while encouraging athletes to train and compete alongside their peers.
The AVSC Partnership is a collaboration alongside the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club’s introductory and competitive programs. Through this partnership, Challenge Aspen provides trained buddies to adaptive athletes at no cost to local families.
Year-round experiences designed to enable families and individuals to enjoy all that the Roaring Fork Valley has to offer. Participants and families work with Challenge Aspen to design their dream itinerary. Activities are limited during the shoulder seasons in the months of April, May, October and November. Scholarships are not currently available for custom adventure itineraries.
