Craig Hospital Teen Rehabilitation Program
Challenge Aspen had the pleasure of hosting a ski retreat for the Teen Rehabilitation Program at Craig Hospital (TRAC) where six awesome athletes ages 18-23 with spinal cord injuries got out on the slopes and honed their ski skills with our adaptive instructors.
Challenge Aspen’s winter Local’s Program athletes will be competing at NASTAR Nationals next week and spectators are encouraged!
Come support our athletes at this world famous racing event held right here at Snowmass Mountain. Our team will be at the base of Blue Grouse on Snowmass Mountain from 9 am till noon both days.

The launch of Challenge Aspen’s adaptive nordic program went incredibly well, and we are excited to be expanding this offering in the coming season!
The highly anticipated annual adaptive curling event was a huge success! A special shoutout to the Aspen Recreation Center for their support.
It was a busy month for CAMO, who hosted the majority of winter Rocky Mountain Retreats, Partner Programs and Western Slope Socials this past month.
Thanks to everyone who came out. We hope you made memories and friends to last a lifetime.
Youth Programs
Did you know that Challenge Aspen has partnered with local schools to make sure all kids in the Roaring Fork Valley and surrounding area can learn to ski? We want to thank our partners, Roaring Fork Schools, Aspen School District, and Aspen Skiing Company for teaming up with us to get young skiers out on the hill this winter.
For those unfamiliar with this piece of adaptive equipment, a Tetra Ski enables independent skiing through breath control or joystick mechanisms.

Western Slope Socials Ride the Pass
Registration is open to join fellow veterans to ride your bike up Independence Pass before it opens to cars at the annual “Ride the Pass ” event.
