Matt
Hoogenboom

Winter Sports Coordinator

Challenge Aspen has inspired me since childhood, when skiing Snowmass meant sharing the mountain with athletes who showed what’s possible through adaptation and determination. Working here now feels like a full-circle opportunity to help others push limits, gain confidence, and experience the same sense of belonging that shaped me. Mechanical skills and a naturally generous spirit allow me to support our programs with practical problem-solving and genuine care.

A standout career milestone was managing an international sales team that distributed bikes across all 50 states and 22 countries, an experience that strengthened my ability to communicate, lead, and build relationships across cultures. Those years reinforced values of service, mentorship, and trust—qualities that continue to guide my work at Challenge Aspen. Helping bridge gaps and create meaningful experiences for participants makes this role feel more like a shared adventure than a job.

Outside of work, my wife Kaleigh and our three dogs explore the Roaring Fork Valley through rafting, hiking, biking, and weekends spent in Marble or discovering new parts of Colorado.
