Growing up in Snowmass Village shaped who I am today and my love for the outdoors. Currently entering my third year at the University of Vermont, studying environmental science and journalism, I’ve extended that passion from the Rocky Mountains to the Green Mountains. Studying in both Colorado and Vermont sparked a love for writing, reporting, and marketing, one of many things that led me to Challenge Aspen. Watching this company thrive while growing up in this town made a lasting impact on me, and joining this community now feels like a meaningful way to give back to the environment that raised me. The past couple of summers working at ACES as a Trook Apprentice has fueled the environmental science side of my interests, and combining these experiences, I hope to one day pursue a career in environmental media that bridges both writing and science. Outside of school, you can usually find me deep in the backcountry on foot or skis, nerding out over wildflowers, or on the pickleball court.
