Locals Ski Program

LOCALS SKI PROGRAM - WINTER 2023/2024

At Challenge Aspen, we believe that access, participation and community integration are the keys to healing and establishing rewarding lives for those with disabilities. We welcome and encourage any individual with a physical and/or cognitive disability to enroll in our recreational and competition Locals Program, regardless of gender or age. All programs take place on Snowmass Mountain. Participants must be able to ski independently, but will be paired one-on-one, with a trained buddy throughout the season.

Challenge Aspen participates in Special Olympics (competition dates are not confirmed for 2023/24) and we will train those interested in racing. We recognize that not everyone wants to race, but might rather enjoy just being on the mountain enjoying their experience without competition in mind. Either way, we’re here to make it happen.

NOTE: Challenge Aspen prefers online applications for a more streamlined process, but if you prefer to pay via check, a paper application is available at the bottom of the page.
