Dates are here for summer 2018 CAMO retreats!
Summer CAMO programs offer an opportunity for recreation and relaxation in the stunning beauty of the Roaring Fork Valley. Whether fly-fishing, white water rafting, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, archery or horseback riding, there are always incredible opportunities to learn and grow.

Couples Retreat I – July 17th – 22nd, 2018
Join us for 4 days of Rocky Mountain adventures! Travel to Snowmass on the 22nd in time for a meet and greet and dinner. Activities are tailored to access and level-of-challenge. Historically, day 1 is a light hike at the Grottos and the ghost town of Independence on Independence Pass capped off with a breathwork session and group dinner, day 2 is a visit to Whispering Winds Ranch for ropes course, fishing and archery, day 3 is fly-fishing instruction, and the final activity day a hike to the world-famous Maroon Bells.
This program was funded in part by a grant from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
BLESMA September 3rd – 10th, 2018
We look forward to partnering with BLESMA, the British Limbless Ex-Servicemen’s Association, in our 11th year of bringing amputee soldiers from “across the pond”. It’s a week of adventure, laughter and camaraderie that can’t be beat!
Mark Christine Fly Fishing Retreat September 11th – 16th, 2018 (This retreat is filled)
This retreat is co-ed and open to 12 active-duty or retired veterans with cognitive or physical disabilities
Mark Christine was an army veteran, accomplished ski instructor who instructed while stationed in Germany and an incredible fly-fisherman. Mark was also a passionate supporter of veterans with disabilities and spent many hours guiding his fellow veterans in the art of fly fishing. When Mark passed away, his friends began honoring his legacy with this fly fishing retreat. What better way to celebrate his memory than to spend 3 days with professional guides on Gold Medal waters in the Roaring Fork Valley? We provide one-on-one instruction in the art of fly fishing. Join us for fly-fishing, a fly tying tutorial and incredible meals.
“Gateway to Gold” Archery Retreat! September 18th – 23rd, 2018 (This retreat is filled!)
This retreat is facilitated by Josh Lindstrom, a veteran who found healing through archery and Emily Hightower, our breath expert. The retreat will be a combination of archery instruction, archery competitions, breathwork sessions, good food and great fun.
