CAMO 2022 SUMMER PROGRAMS

It's tough to beat summer recreation in Aspen.

Our summer CAMO programs immerse participants in the finest recreation opportunities that this area is known for.  From biking on our globally recognized trail system to fishing the Gold Medal waters of the Roaring Fork and Frying Pan rivers, we provide access and professional adaptive instruction that leaves participants with new skills and some great memories.

All programs are subject to change.

CAMO x OPERATION HEALING FORCES SUMMER ADVENTURES

Challenge Aspen is proud to partner with Operation Healing Forces, a non-profit organization that serves the special operations community.  Together, we will bring teams to the Roaring Fork Valley, introduce them to some of our most exciting adventure opportunities, give them some new health and wellness tools, and provide an amazing space to breathe deep and relax.

These are private programs and require invitation from Operation Healing Forces to participate.

July 10 – July 15
July 17 – July 22

CAMO MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE SPORTS & GOLF CLASSIC

The summer Mountain Adventure Sports program introduces participants to the best adventure sports the Rocky Mountains offer!  Veterans and active-duty service members will be introduced to mountain biking, whitewater rafting, and rock climbing.  Mixed in to these activities are health and wellness sessions, and free time to soak in the summer vibes in Aspen.  A unique part of this program is the invitation to be involved in the Challenge Aspen Golf Classis fundraiser – either as a player, a spectator, or helping our team engage with donors and the community.

This is an open enrollment program, apply here.

CAMO x FORT CARSON SRU MOUNTAIN BIKING

CAMO is thrilled to serve the active-duty soldiers who are in the Fort Carson Soldier Recovery Unit, and provide a fantastic opportunity for them to explore the award winning singletrack trails of the Aspen area.  This retreat will help them work with their injuries, and adapt their technique and equipment to tackle whatever trail lies ahead.

This is a private program, open only to soldiers recruited through the Fort Carson SRU.
