Adaptive Ski & Snowboard Programs

Challenge Aspen hosts daily adaptive ski and snowboard programs, as well as camps, making winter sports accessible to adults and children, catering to novice and advanced levels. Challenge Aspen maintains its place at the cutting edge of the adaptive world through continual maintenance and improvement of an up-to-date inventory of equipment to accommodate the varied needs of our guests. Our PSIA- and AASI-certified instructors are professionally trained and certified in adaptive teaching, taking great pride in the quality of our ski and snowboard programs and providing knowledgeable instruction to those with visual and hearing impairments, spinal cord injuries and cognitive disabilities. Safety is always a top priority.

Through its partnership with Aspen Skiing Company and local outfitters, Challenge Aspen has access to four skiing/boarding areas within the Roaring Fork Valley. We are pleased to offer the following services to our participants between mid-November and mid-April:

  • Adaptive Ski & Snowboard Lessons with PSIA-Certified Instructors
  • Trained Adaptive Assistants and Volunteers
  • Adaptive Equipment Rental
  • Discounted Tickets
