Interski Congress 2015

Interski LogoInterski Congress 2015 is held every four years and Challenge Aspen is honored to have been asked to participate and partner with the host country Argentina to present adaptive teaching models and equipment to the world of snowsports.

The Interski Congress is the most important technical/academic assembly for snowports in the world. For the first time in the event’s history, a country of the southern hemisphere has been chosen as official host of this important event. Argentina, the city of Ushuaia and Cerro Castor ski resort, will be the venue where the 2015 World Interski Congress takes place.

In 2005, Challenge Aspen was instrumental in starting an adaptive ski program in Bariloche, Argentina. Bariloche is a sister city of Aspen where exchanges are made with medical, educational, and now adaptive recreation. The adaptive ski program in Bariloche was named after Challenge Aspen and is called Desifio Bariloche. (Challenge Bariloche).

This year Challenge Aspen will have a partnership with all the ski areas of Argentina and will be called Challenge Argentina at the Interski Congress. We are very proud to have been given this opportunity to share our adaptive ski training, technology, and disability education to not only the people of Argentina but to ski areas in over 40 countries who will be represented at Interski.
