MULTI-DAY / OVERNIGHT TRIPS

Spend one to three nights on the beautiful Colorado River with your family! You can run one section or all three; it's up to you and your needs. Each trip has a mixture of flat water and class III rapids right in the middle of the Colorado wilderness. It is a full expedition style raft trip with all supply's being carried on the rafts with you. You will be camping in tents and telling stories over an open fire. Just sit back and relax as we will do all the cooking, cleaning, shopping and whatever else needs to be done. You can customize this trip to perfectly fit your family's needs and we are able to accommodate most disabilities on this stretch.

Overnight Trip options include:

  • Pump House to Rancho (Upper Colorado River Class II,III) oar/paddle

  • Rancho to Catamount

  • Catamount to Dotsero

These trips are under a partnership with Adventures in Whitewater.

HALF-DAY AND FULL-DAY OPTIONS

  • South Canyon/Dinosaur Rock (Colorado River Class I, II)

    • This trip is offered in half-day or full-day and is a mellow scenic float. It is a class I,II stretch through the beautiful South Canyon of the Colorado River. This trip is recommended for the more extreme disabilities where being in the water is not an option or you are just looking for a more relaxed trip.

  • Cemetery Rapid ( Lower Roaring Fork River Class II, III)

    • On this trip you can expect a combination of exciting white-water action as well as scenic countryside surroundings. You will see the likes of Blue Herrin, Red Tail Hawks and Bald Eagles just to name a few. Then after lunch you will plunge down into the town of Glenwood Springs through the Cemetery Rapids. This is a class II,III section that is fun for the whole family. We offer this in full or half-day trips.

  • Members Rapids (Middle Roaring Fork River Class II, III)

    • This is the most action packed half day trip we offer. It runs through the middle section of the Roaring Fork River which is full of mild to moderate rapids that come one after another. Previous rafting experience is recommended but not necessary as this stretch is only run with paddle boats. This trip runs from June to mid July only due to river flows.

  • Toothache Rapids (Upper Roaring Fork River Class III) paddle

    • This stretch has the biggest rapids of any trip we offer. They are still quite mild comparatively but definitely enough to get the blood flowing. This can be a short two to three hour trip or you can combine it with the Members trip to get an action packed day. All participants on this trip must be physically able to walk as getting to the water is a bit of a hike.
