10th Annual Challenge Aspen Magic of Music & Dance Camp Presents The Jungle Book

Friday, July 13 at Noon at the Thunder River Theatre, Carbondale

Snowmass, Colo. (July 10, 2007) - - The 10th Annual Challenge Aspen Magic of Music & Dance Camp will present the heart warming production “The Jungle Book,” directed by Cathy Crum, this Friday, July 13 at 12pm at the Thunder River Theatre located at 6th and Main in Carbondale. Tickets are free, donations are appreciated and there will be a bake sale before the performance.

The Magic of Music & Dance Camp’s annual performance has become a Roaring Fork Valley favorite, as the grand finale to the five-day long Challenge Aspen camp. Friday’s Jungle Book performance features 30 participants with disabilities, aging from 7 to 27, and their buddies singing and dancing to some of the classic songs revolving around the adventures of the abandoned ‘man cub’ Mowgli, who is raised by wolves in the Indian jungle. Songs like “The Bare Necessities” and “I Wanna Be Like You,” are just a few of the familiar toe-tapping tunes ready to be heard by all who attend.

The Challenge Aspen Magic of Music & Dance Camp performance is made possible thanks to the Thunder River Theatre and Snowmass Chapel, Cathy Crum (Director), Lala Caffarone (Assistant Director), Julie Paxton (Musical Director), Rich Ganson (Technical Director), Jaimbea Hall and Ned Sullivan (Set Designers), Cindi Davis and Tita Zeffren (Costume Designers) and all of their many crew, volunteers and buddies.
