Winter C.A.M.O. Programs
C.A.M.O. winter programs welcome groups of injured service members, veterans and their families for a fabulous week of snow-sports, wellness, relaxation and camaraderie in the therapeutic setting of the Rocky Mountains. Programs are designed to cater to a broad range of physical and cognitive injuries, utilizing our professional highly skilled professionals, adaptive equipment and techniques. Daily recreation and wellness activities, group meals and educational sessions a provide participants with the opportunity to acquire new skills, knowledge, and resources to cope with their injuries, while forming and enjoying new relationships in a fun, safe and healing environment.

Women’s Mountain Retreat
December 9 – 13, 2013
Recognizing the specific needs of newly injured service women, C.A.M.O. offers a specifically designed program that includes both daily snow-sports and wellness activities in a fun, retreat style setting.
C.A.M.O. Estes Park Nortic Ski & Snowshoe Adventure
February 3 – 7, 2014
Exploring one of America’s most inspirational parks, a group of wounded military members and Veterans from Brooke Army Medical Center, plus their families, enjoy a week of cross-country ski and snowshoe day outings in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Offering a fabulous introduction to snow sports and adaptive recreation in the Rocky Mountains. C.A.M.O. will welcome a group of newly injured service members spring skiing and snowboarding at Snowmass Mountain.
C.A.M.O. Wilderness Hut Trip
April 5 – 11, 2014
C.A.M.O. will provide the experience of a lifetime for a group of injured service members and veterans. The program will begin with two days of adaptive skiing and snowboarding in Snowmass Village, Colorado to initiate camaraderie and the group dynamic. We will then depart into the wilderness with experienced guides for a three-day hut trip at The Harry Gates Hut, part of the Tenth Mountain Hut System in the White River National Forest.
